A refurb in March 2024 has seen a big improvement outside and inside. Primarily food-led with a large restaurant area but also with an extensive bar area suited well to the bar snacks menu. Outdoor seating, a large TV in the bar area, in a discrete but easily visible location.

All beers and ciders are only available via keg or bottle, no cask ale is served. Bar for cocktails and mocktails

Excellent value carveries are served, alongside fresh pizza made on site from 100% fresh dough, burgers, vegetarian options, lighter bites menu and food to share options too.

Children welcome and background music is unobtrusive, although there are fruit machines in part of the bar area. There's a large car park and a selection of food, including roasts, to take away.
