This Pub is Permanently Closed
Welcoming long, narrow single-bar pub, converted from shop and houses in the 1980s, although it looks much older with low ceilings, beams and an open fire. Afternoon teas and evening meals are served, with Oakham JHB on the bar.
Pub demolished sometime 2022-2024 Report 3PL/2023/0762/F mentioned already demolished as deemed unsafe by council. Notwithstanding the above, the building was deemed unsafe and a public danger by Breckland Council's
Building Control team and as such, the building was subsequently demolished. The actual planning reference above was refused but this was not to refuse demolition
