The Green Man and adjoining terrace were rebuilt on the site in 1906-1907 (architects Harrison and Ward) in Flemish style with wide flat arches at ground floor. The Green Man public house existed on the site in a different form as early as 1746. Grade II listed. Once a Fuller's pub, now trading as a bar serving the local Portuguese community, keg beer taps and bottled beer only.

Historic Interest

GV II 1906, by Harrison and Ward. Symmetrical red brick facade with stone dressings and flanking arch to yard with oriel window over; 3 storeys; 3 bays width to main building. Ground floor composed of wide flat stuccoed arches. Arched heads to first floor windows. Two shaped Dutch gables, altered. Included for group value.
