The new name of the pub is The Corner House & we open on Friday 10th of September following a full refurbishment.

Irish bar since 1989. Although labelled as an "Irish" bar, the interior has little of the usual Irish decor found in many Irish bars. This pub occupies a fairly large corner-site with a prominent "Brewers' Tudor" frontage. It has a comfortable interior, with a carpeted floor and mainly booth seating around the sides, but also with some tall tables and tall stools in the centre of the room. There's a dartboard tucked away in one of the corners.
