March 2024 - Now reopened by Craft Union (part of Stonegate) under its new name. The website says it has real ales but there is none. Totally a keg offering and nearly all is from "main brands" That said it is a friendly and comfortable place wuth a strong local element. The far left hand corent has a pool table and mezzanine seating.

Previously and following extensive refurbishment both inside and out, this pub emerged as a restaurant called Osteria del Ponte. However, it subsequently (2013) become the Betsy Smith and was more like a pub. In September 2016 became the Bokor which also closed.
