This Pub is Closed Long Term
A pub which origins date back to around 1800, the pleasant interior is L-shaped and tastefully decorated in a modern style to create a relaxing environment aimed at all ages. Not so obvious is the secluded courtyard garden at the rear that is sheltered by a high wall. After a spell in the hands of Castles Brewery the pub changed hands and now offers both nationally and locally brewed beers.
The bus station is a short walk around the corner while allow about 10+ minutes to reach the railway station. A public car park is nearby off Welsh Street.
