Located in the shadow of the ancient fortified Monnow Bridge (built 1270), this is a stylish Georgian riverside building. Formerly the Gate House, the interior was stripped and completely refurbished into its current incarnation by its independent operators in late 2025. Wye Valley favourites provide the beer, and food is available most of the day. Parking is available opposite off Blestium Street.
