This Pub is Permanently Closed

Long established watering hole by a busy mini-roundabout. A refurbishment some years ago saw the former public bar and lounge merged into two linked areas. One has seats by an old disused fireplace and is particularly popular with young folk at the weekend, while the other includes a slightly higher seating level with a TV and a spot for the weekend DJ to produce the chart sounds of the day. The bar has something of a rustic look about it with much wood used in its structure. Rumours persist that conversion to a mini-mart is imminent but it remains open and trading much as usual.
