A warm and welcoming traditional low beamed pub, with parts of the building more than 400 years old. Situated beside the East Lyn River in the heart of Exmoor National Park, it has seven rooms of accommodation, all of which are en-suite. Real ales from local breweries are served from casks behind the bar, and very good home-cooked food is served. Permits are available for fishing and the Samaritans Way for walkers runs along the length of the valley by the river. Extended hours apply in summer, when open all day every day from May to September Well behaved dogs allowed in the bar area.
