Sizeable, many roomed hotel, pub and restaurant just off the A40. Large pleasant garden complete with brook. Built in 1068 the pub is mentioned in the Doomsday Book and became a coaching inn in the 17th century. Recently extensively refurbished by Brakspears. Winner of National 2022 Pub and Bar Award .
