Built in 1820 and listed, this pub sits high above the Street, next to the Great Western railway line and close to West Drayton station. Reopened in 2010 following a period of closure and sale. There are two bars, the one mostly used for dining has an interesting selection of local photographs. League darts is played here and subscription sport is shown. Evening meals available until 8pm but not every day. Real ale no longer available. One unused handpump.

Historic Interest

Grade II listing:- Early-mid C19 building of 2 storeys, 3 windows, raised on mound with brick retaining wall which holds cellar entrance and forms floor of full length ground floor loggia whose paired slender iron columns support balcony above, with wrought iron railing. Hipped slate roof. Multicoloured stock brick. 1st floor long sash windows with glazing bars, the outer ones tripartite. On ground floor central half-glazed double door flanked by canted bays holding sash windows with glazing bars. Centre of right hand bay altered to door.
