Historic Interest

The following description comes from Harrow Council:- The re-built Masons Arms pub is a positive unlisted building which makes a striking use of the corner site by its sheer size alone, with a wide and symmetrical frontage. The building has a curved shape, incorporating timber framed sash windows, with brick arch detail above windows on the side facing elevations on the ground floor and one window on each corner of the ground floor on the front elevation. The tall chimneys in matching brickwork are also an important feature which, along with its steeply sloping clay tiled roof, creates a more Arts and Crafts character to the building.
