Smallish, vaulted-ceilinged student bar with Basement Club set beneath it. Returned to selling cask ale in Oct 2011, the bar is on the back wall with two areas laid out before it. Two large semi-booth seating areas with wooden rail detailing are on the right, whilst the left section is raised and sports a pool table. Food is served 9-3 daily during term times. In its days as the Swinging Sporran it was local CAMRA branch Pub of the Month in Nov 1993.
