October 2015 Reportedly sold by Punch for conversion to private house.
Small and attractive, white-washed, brick inn decorated with hanging baskets and flower tubs. Through the porch is the lounge, with a lovely old clock ticking over the open fire. At the rear is a tiny vault where darts and dominoes are played. The benches on the cobbled frontage are very popular during warm weather. This locals' pub is set on a quiet country lane. It has a friendly atmosphere, especially when community events are being hosted. The TV in the main lounge shows major sporting events. There is occasional live music.
