Quiet, friendly, three roomed, traditional village local with beamed ceilings. Real coal fires add warmth in winter and there is a comfortable patio for the summer. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. First Thursday of the month is quiz night.

Second beer is usually Wainwrights.
