Traditional local in the village centre. The front parts comprise two former rooms, now knocked-together. To the rear is a games room with a pool table and dartboard. A rear garden has paved and lawned areas furnished with picnic tables. No meals but cobs are provided at weekends.

Historic Interest

A gable-end date-stone indicates this building was erected in 1801. Preceding this establishment, a three story building on the opposite side of the Market Place was known as the old Greyhound which ceased to be licenced in 1916. National census records and entries in Kellys Directories indicate that both the old & new Greyhound were trading at the same time for at least half a century.
