A large popular village pub serving Indo Chinese and Indian menus. The main entrance leads into an open-plan public bar with sports TVs. The restaurant is in the side conservatory on the left. There is a patio-garden at the back. The Centrebus 747 Leicester to Uppingham service serves the village; there are stops on the main road, but most buses run through the village via Main Street.
