Multi award-winning pub owned by Ossett, with the on-site Rat microbrewery. The large open plan main area still retains the feel of separate rooms. Nine handpumps offer beers mainly from the Ossett stable, with two permanent dark ales available. A generous range of ciders and perries are stocked. The pub has a dartboard, and it hosts monthly jazz on the first Tuesday of the month in the function room. There is a quiz on Wednesday. Huddersfield CAMRA Pub of the Year 2022.
