Riverside pub.
Popular and lively, historic, river-side inn serving meals and two or three well-kept ales from the local brewery, BOA. A real cider may also be available, such as from Barbourne Cider.
The wooden-floored Georgian bar to the left retains some features from the past and across the passage is the lounge. The large terrace overlooks the river and is very popular for eating outside in the warmer months. Meals include steak grilled over lava stone.
Accommodation is available by reservation in advance. The pub may close early on Sundays.

Originally the Virgins Inn, a river boatmen's inn, pre-dating the canal which arrived in 1772.
