This Pub is Closed Long Term

Hotel bar at front of house, comfortable and traditional. Highest pub 'up the hill' in town. Wood panelling and old furniture. Chintzy curtains and wallpaper.

We have a closure date of 2008 recorded though there are images showing it open April 2009. By 2021 the ground floor windows had been blocked up and by July 2023 it's all looking tatty and unloved. There have been no planning or listed building consent applications for any work or change of use.
