This Pub is Closed Long Term

A traditional back-street local that inhabits its own time warp best described as a 'Marmite' experience, the pub has a strong local following and a sociable house lurcher. Up to five well-kept changing beers complement the tied pump. An evocative rock juke box prompts spontaneous dancing. Classic old films shown on Thursdays; also newspapers, books and games. Occasional themed party nights. The partially covered rear patio has an idiosyncratic atmosphere. The pub is closed during Appleby Fair week in June.
