This Pub is Permanently Closed

Formerly the World’s End, this ex-shop re-opened as a ‘wine, cider and real ale bar’ in December 2012. It consists of a long, narrow bar, predominately in a pine décor, still to acquire the patina of long use! The real ales are in water cooled barrels behind the bar, and there is one real cider on handpump. The ales are chosen from 2 local and several regional breweries on a rotational basis, with one on in winter and two in the warmer months. All in all, a welcome addition to the Newport real ale scene. Child and dog-friendly.
