Hotel & Restaurant.

In 1982 when Kessock bridge was opened, other than taking the ferry, this pub has been on the main road to the far North of Scotland for 270 years. Formally called "The Old North Inn" until very recently, it was renamed "Bog Roy" which was the old name of the local village, Inchmore.

As happens, it has reverted to "Old North Inn" again, but, alas, the hand pump has gone.

There is a busy bar and relaxing lounge, the later caters mainly for diners. A take-away menu is also available 12-9. There is a caravan site at Lovat Bridge 3 1/2 miles away. The pub is the "watering hole" for the local Kirkhill football team with pictures adorning the wall of the bar with team line-ups and successes. There is a small shop selling newspapers inside.
