Town centre pub, situated halfway between Saturday and Wednesday Market, that is understandably popular with shoppers. The large front room with smaller quieter room, used by diners at lunchtimes, is complemented by the enclosed walled garden area to the rear. Evening meals can be catered for if booked in advance. Great value Sunday lunch is recommended.
