Rock Mill Brewery "The Pits", New Mills

Opened in September 2018, the bar is located within the secluded RB Pine Joinery courtyard inside an old garage premises. The garage has been converted to a brewery and ‘speakeasy’ style bar. Ray started up his brewery in an adjacent building as a small craft brewery producing traditional style English ales from the past and present, and a few ‘special’ beers. The bar now sits in the old garage premises next door, with seating above the old garage “pits” from where the mechanics would examine the cars. This is a small, rustic micropub with assorted seating, a small bar from where Ray usually dispenses his beers, and a bottle display for sale off licence. The small bar serves 3-4 of Rays Rock Mill beers from cask and another from keg, with an additional tap for 'Pitsberger' Bohemian style lager beer. In addition to the opening hours shown the bar also opens 3-9pm on the last Friday of the month. All opening hours may vary to accommodate holidays etc. It’s a great local bar, visitors, walkers and dogs all welcome.
