This brand new Boutique Bar (previously known as the Shrub Club) opened in August 2023 and is located in the iconic Torr Vale Mill nestled in the Torrs in the middle of New Mills.

Cask beer from the local Thornsett Brewery or Osset Brewery on the two handpumps. There is a cider on a third handpump. In addition the pub stocks several KeyKeg beers, mostly from nearby Torrside Brewing in addition to a keg lager from Thornbridge totalling six fonts. As Torrside Brewing fill their KeyKegs with 'live beer' it fully conforms to the 'real ale' category.

Magnificent views of the Torrs and the Goyt river, particularly from outside terraces.

Opposite is The Cheese Wheel stocking artisan cheeses, bottled craft beers and natural wines.

Card only payments.

Historic Interest

This Grade II* Listed former industrial cotton mill is sited on the banks of the River Goyt. It has been restored back to life retaining the industrial architecture of the 1800’s, including barrel vaulted ceilings, exposed stone walls and cast iron columns and beams.
