This Pub is Closed Long Term

From 18/08/2023 the new home for Whiskey Blue, which used to trade at 74/76 London Road.

But... Whiskey Blue quickly returned to the London Road venue on 01/12/2023, closing the High Street venue.

See HAS/00420 for all details of the London Road venue (which has since changed name).

Historic Interest

National Provincial Bank built 1867 by John Gibson in Italianate style, Grade II* listed. Historic England list entry 1092016. The top of the south façade shows the dates 'Established 1833', presumably for the bank, and 'Built 1867' for the building.
