Pub/restaurant or may be pure 'restaurant'.

The Stable opened November 2015, changed hands during Covid, before closing February 2022. April 2022 saw it reopen as 'Blue's Smokehouse', an American barbecue Restaurant. At this stage we don't know if it still qualifies as a pub; you may be required to buy a meal. We doubt that any real ale or cider is available.

Our 2020 description of this venue was: A new build in Southampton's new 'Cultural Quarter' opened November 2015 as a 'Pizza Pies & Cider' emporium. A large airy interior with an open kitchen to the rear and a mezzanine above. Décor is a combination of mock stone and semi rustic pale wood. Seating is at long wooden tables & benches. Handpumps now used for real cider/perry only. There are around 60 ciders and perrys in total, 26 'bag in a box', the others keg or bottled, so it ought not to disappoint cider aficionados.
