The open-plan pub has four pumps, usually with three running, and also features home-cooked food which is available most lunchtimes (Mon-Sat) and some weekday evenings (Tue-Thu, plus Sat). The interior decor includes quotations from the past and the atmosphere of this quiet pub is friendly. An outside covered area has been added at the front. The pub is close to the Hythe Ferry Terminal, so accessible from Southampton.
