Converted from what used to be a joinery, the pub won CAMRA's Best Conversion to Pub Use award in 2006. This spacious open-plan local, beside the Rochdale Canal on the western side of the town centre, features exposed beams and floorboards. The main room has plenty of floorspace and has an L shaped bar. There is a small room in one corner that can be used for meetings. There is also a room upstairs that is mainly used for functions. This room is bookable and has its own bar.
