This Pub is Permanently Closed
A popular local built in the 18th century in a hilltop village important for it's stone quarries. It has won awards for the summer floral displays on it's frontage. The L-shaped lounge incorporates exposed stonework behind the bar, and an open fire ensures customers are warm in the winter. A separate room has a pool table. Regular changing guest beers. Charity events are held during the year and there is a Thursday evening quiz. Dogs are welcome.
