A modern pub-restaurant beside a small canal basin, currently the northern terminus of what was the Halifax Canal, and at the foot of the Hebble Trail footpath. Drinkers must walk past the dining area to get to the bar-lounge at the far end of the building, where leather armchairs are plentiful and modern pictures adorn the walls. The large restaurant is divided into smaller areas, some overlooking the canal basin, all furnished with varied styles of tables and chairs. A wide range of wines are available. A Premier Inn is located behind the pub.
