This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Little Wonder (not to be confused with a former pub of the same name in nearby Northfleet) was a pub just outside the town centre that traded between 1851 and 2007. It had been part of the Russell's brewery tied estate, and ownership would have passed to Truman's in 1930 when the brewery was sold.
A perhaps ill-advised change of name to Gambino's was followed by a lengthy period of closure from the late 1990s. However The Little Wonder enjoyed a brief resurgence in the mid-noughties when it offered a good selection of real ales. Sadly this was a short-lived venture and time was called forever in 2007.
The building has since been converted to meet the apparently insatiable demand for residential accommodation in Gravesend.
