This Pub is Permanently Closed
The City of London was a riverside pub that traded from 1839 to 2000. It had been rebuilt in 1893 following fire damage. As the photo indicates (thanks to www.dover-kent.com), it had become part of the Watney Coombe Reid tied estate by the late 20th century.
It became a B&B establishment on closure.
