This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Keys closed in 2013 and the building is now in use as residential apartments. The license of the Cross Keys was transferred from the original building further down the village to the present site by West Country Breweries in the 1960's. The premises was then in use as a dental surgery. In 1998 the pub was renamed the Hedgehog Ale & Eating House but reverted back to the Keys in the 21st century. The refurbishment to residential unfortunately saw the removal of a unique iron work pub sign bracket which bore the castle emblem of the defunct West Country Brewery based in Cheltenham.
