One bar pub with beams and plenty of character. The interior consists of around 4 separate rooms/areas with a number of historical features - eg. a stone coffin lid from the castle grounds set in the wall of the bar. Very popular with all ages. Large garden chess set. Cider in summer. Good food including children's meals. The castle was built in 1209 and is now a Youth Hostel.
