This Pub is Closed Long Term

Became an Italian restaurant once Arkells purchased the Riverside just around the corner and Arkells still owned it then. L'artigiano closed sometime in 2016 and current ownership is unknown.

Historic Interest

Grade II listed. Historic England List UID: 1155867. There was a Lion Inn on the High Street in 1592 and may have been on this site. Current buildings date from late 17th or early 18th century though much altered in the 19th century.
