Large community-friendly Wetherspoon pub standing alongside the Forth and Clyde Canal. It features a modern interior with Mackintosh-like wood panelling. Off the main room is a sizeable family-friendly corner and more secluded alcoves. There is an extensive beer garden at the rear. A wide selection of beers is available, often featuring strong ales. The pub is popular with locals, canal users and visitors to the Roman Antonine Wall. There are frequent buses to Glasgow.
