Having been closed in December 2018, it was sold with a temporary restrictive covenant in May 2021; currently being refurbished (October 2022) with planning permission to extend being sought, planned reopening 2024, possibly 2023.

Old description: Village pub which has chosen to appeal to drinkers, rather than a food pub. Display of historic village photographs on walls. Dogs on lead.
