A small basic town centre one room pub, with a mixture of bench seats, tables and chairs. There are two large TV screens for sports (horse racing is popular), plus a jukebox and gaming machine. The pub retains a strong link with the local community, named after the long since closed Aitkens Brewery. A superb large Aitkens brewery mirror hangs on the wall opposite the bar. The bar often closes by mid evening. No real ale here.
