Popular with walking groups and dog walkers, it has a regular food menu with changing specials including light snacks and vegetarian and vegan options, except Sunday evenings. The pub also serves two regular regional ales and has a secluded outdoor patio with heaters and tables. The Castle Inn is situated about 200 yards off the A379 between Dawlish and Teignmouth on the No.2 bus route.
