With prominent views of The Warren, a walk up the hill from the station is fully justified. A beamed pub with lots of dark wood whose multiple sitting/eating areas (one set out as a restaurant) provide excellent views down to the nature reserve, the coastal railway line and across the Exe estuary towards Exmouth. There is a small, raised outside terrace while the bar room nearest the road has a pool table.
Accessibility access - Fully Accessible throughout including WChair adapted toilets.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (usually from Exeter Brewery e.g. Avocet, and [St.Austell]St.Austell e.g. Cornish Best.) and 2 regular beers.

It’s two pub trails in one—buzzing seafront bars followed by hilltop hideaways. Sea views, local beer, and proper Devon character all the way through.
Beachside brews, backstreet locals, and a hop from the station—Paignton’s trail is full of variety, real ale, and seaside soul.
A harbour-hugging trail with fishing-town charm, characterful pubs, and a serious range of ale—all with the sea never far from sight.
