Fine Georgian building that was once the United Comrades club for ex servicemen. Inside, the walls are decorated with prints of notable successful people who lived in the town or contributed to its development eg Edward Bawden, Jack Cardiff, and the Gibson family. Regular beer festivals and meet the brewer events are held. There is a garden and large covered outside drinking area. Standard Wetherspoon's food offering available daily.
