DEC 2020 - Reopened as Rishi's Indian Restaurant and Takeaway so NO LONGER A PUB.

There is no planning application associated with this change. Following response received from Edinburgh planning:

A desktop investigation, including a review of the planning history and Google

Streetview images, has established that the property has been operating as both a

restaurant and bar for a period in excess of 10 years. On that basis, the lawful planning

use of the premises is as a restaurant and bar.

The use of the premises as a restaurant only does not significantly change how the

property is used or change the character of the premises or the surrounding area. The

nature of the use and pattern of activity (including any impacts) associated with the use

as a restaurant only is broadly similar to that of the established lawful use. On that

basis, the use of the premises as a restaurant only does not constitute a material

change of use and an application for planning permission is not required.

No breach of planning control has occurred.
