In an attractive location, sitting across from the harbour in the old fishing village of Newhaven, this is a very friendly locals' pub on two levels, the larger being beside the bar counter. There are historical memorabilia on the walls with sea-charts on the ceiling to tie in with the harbour’s original association as a Royal Dockyard where the 'Great Michael' was built, the largest warship of its time in Europe. There is occasional live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. Children are not admitted. Toasties served until 7pm.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (Scottish from Greene King list.) and 1 regular beer.
