This charming 200 year old former coaching inn (Grade C listed) reopened in November 2024 with new owners following a major refurbishment and is well worth seeking out. The welcoming bar is now joined directly with the former lounge room to form a large open plan area with a log burning stove in the corner. The separate restaurant at the rear specialises in local produce with an intimate, relaxed, candlelit atmosphere. Pizzas are supplied from the adjacent artisan pizzeria Wed - Sun. The secluded beer garden with a gazebo and patio can be enjoyed during the summer.
