A comfortable lounge bar in an old building with the original cornices retained. The walls are decorated with framed beermats and assorted breweriana.

Refurbished in 2021 as Steel Coulson Southside with up to six cask ales and ciders on handpump. Also a selection of kegged beers with point of sale information that may identify those that are real ale in membrane-keg format. A range of bottles and cans are also available as off-sales. Note that the real ales and ciders featured on the handpumps may commonly be served on gravity at the far end of the bar.

No food served but you're welcome to bring/order in you own.

Look out for the vintage keg artefacts on the bar. May open earlier for rugby etc.
