The pub, located in a corner tenement ground floor, reopened in July 2022 as part of the small local Brass Monkey chain. A central horseshoe bar is built with recycled bricks supporting an attractive ash counter. The bar area is tastefully designed with a variety of hard floor surfaces, and exposed random rubble stone columns between the large windows overlooking the busy road junction. There is a good choice of seating options, from bar stools, high booths, through to normal tables and chairs. To the rear, there is an area up a few steps which is quieter, and available for private parties.
The cask beers are normally from Scottish micro-breweries, and change regularly.
The menu is normal pub grub, with an emphasis on burgers. Vegan, vegetarian and kids' options are also available.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
