A cosy traditional pub that has seen many makeovers over the years, such as supplementing the real beams with ersatz ones. In line with most Grassmarket pubs, the Last Drop is often extremely busy. Popular for food (Nicholson's Menu) but drinkers are also made very welcome. Located next to the scene of 18th century public hangings, hence the name. Traditional Folk Music played most evenings.
