A large, three floored, multi-roomed pub built on the site of a 16th century inn. Upstairs is the condemned cell door from the old tollbooth. The large beer garden has great views up to the castle. The real ales have a Scottish bias. Meals are served all day. On Friday and Saturday evenings there is a lively atmosphere with live music.
